".log" in completion-ignored-extensions

Hrvoje> completion-ignored-extensions is sometimes confusing. It's not clear to me that much of anything should get dumped in completion-ignored-extensions that Emacs doesn't create itself, ie, "~" and ".elc" and not much else, unless the admin specifically asks for it. In principle, of course.
