Yes and no. It now takes 2-3 seconds to go from one new message to
the next (via "n"). This is really annoying, and CPU usage goes to
100% during this time. The long delays from vm-flush don't seem to
happen, but I'm not quite sure. I got a long delay just a minute ago
when I switched from my GNUS buffer to my VM buffer in the same
xemacs. No disk activity, no GC indication, just 100% CPU and a delay
of about 10 sec.
