Hey, people.
I just finished writing up my report for Strokes and Chinese character
recognition. I'm just about getting over 80% accuracy rates. this is
really good, and I'm happy about it. also, I've written it to be
completely general, so that this can work for any language in which the
characters can be written one-at-a-time (i.e. English is fine, as long
as you don't write in script). Anyway, you can look at my paper if you
want. Unfortunately, all the recognition code is in Common Lisp, and
though I believe I can port it to elisp, it simply won't be nearly fast
enough. it's all in Allegro CL.
