Dear Bug Team!
I gunzipped /usr/share/info, and info worked fine; however, on
exiting the gtk version crashed with a segfault (no core, no
trace). bugs-buddy offered to send a bug-report to GNOME, but with
no relevant information.
Will try same in the no-gtk version.
Please let me know if you don't want to hear about this any more ;-)
