Do you work with a byte-compiled gnus.elc? I get the same error. My
current workaround is to start xemacs, byte-compile gnus.el, then
start gnus and be a happy camper
Nope, and I haven't changed anything in .gnus.el when it crashed. So I
don't understand why gnus tries to compile .gnus.el. Is it because I
call it .gnus.el?
