CVS question re: 21.5.b14

Have there been any changes made to the lisp or C source files (and committed to CVS) for 21.5.b14 since June 1, 2003? If so, why does the command cvs -z3 -d :pserver:cvs＠cvs.xemacs.org:/pack/xemacscvs update issued in my xemacs source tree root directory only replace version.sh? In XEmacs the cvs-status command also shows all files are up-to-date. Am I using these commands incorrectly?
