Well, it's reasonably stable, but it crashes with an assertion about
make_lisp_buffer_stream_1 where the start is greater than the end,
just like my earlier reports with 2.95.2
So perhaps this isn't just a compiler bug. There might be more to
it.
With Sun C, I haven't run into this yet, but I don't compile with
optimization on because I can't debug it then. :-(
