I haven't seen the crash in a while, but that could be because

changes in git.el or the support. I forget now. I think it's a
good sign, since I've been using git.el everyday since then without

OK. So git.el has been updated? I will have a look. I don't remember
but it is out there somewhere I guess. I found it the last time ;-)
No, not yet. I don't get conflicts very often so I don't get
a chance
to test. And when I do, I need to get the conflict fixed right away
so that I can continue do my work.
I know, I know...
One enhancment that I would like to make is that git.el doesn't
know
about tags in git. This is annoying when you do C-u C-x v = and
then you can't do tab completion when prompted for the old (and new)
version.
Feel free to do that! It sounds useful. ;-)
