in the menu, Help -> Samples -> Sample .emacs
I assume it has been kept current with XEmacs itself, but must admit I've
never tried it myself
the idea of sharing setup files is good, though - there are several people
at Los Alamos who still use my setup stuff, even though I've been gone for
a few years now
to make it easier for them to get updates, I had the idea of putting my
setup files on SourceForge (
http://sourceforge.net/) - then they (or
anyone) can simply check them out via CVS, subscribe to a mailing list to
which I can send announcements if I make changes they might be interested
in, etc.

but you'll notice that I haven't actually uploaded my files yet, so this is
all just theoretical at this point...
