The tab widget is appearing and disappearing. CVS update as of
approximately 19:00 JST (GMT+9) January 19.
With the following in .emacs:
(define-specifier-tag 'sjt-fonts)
(set-face-font 'default
"-b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-*-sans-14-140-*-iso8859-1"
'global '(sjt-fonts) 'prepend)
simply starting XEmacs results in a splash screen with the *scratch*
tab displayed. As soon as the timer expires and splash screen 2
appears, the tab goes away. Changing focus away from the window also
causes the tab to disappear. None of `recenter', `redisplay-frame', or
`redraw-frame' gets it back, nor does clicking in the gutter.
Finding a new file does. If there are multiple tabs, clicking in the
gutter often gets it back.
This doesn't happen with `xemacs -vanilla' or with
xemacs -vanilla \
-font '-b&h-lucidatypewriter-medium-r-*-sans-14-140-*-iso8859-1'
There's also this anomoly:
(Oh, bad xv! evil xv! ... you may have to save that to a file and use xv
to view it; is there an alternative way to grab windows and make PNGs?
XEmacs didn't like it when I tried previewing this mail.)
The tab widget's underline normally goes all the way across the frame,
but here it doesn't make it halfway.
This _does_ happen with both invocations using `xemacs -vanilla ...' above.
