FYI I ported most of the preview-latex package to XEmacs, but I didn't
realize until now that XEmacs didn't support postscript glyphs.
Look at http://preview-latex.sourceforge.net/ for what you can
do.. quite cool, LaTeX editing in Emacs!
I actually did this about 10 years ago, but the then maintainer of
Ghostscript didn't want to take the necessary patches and when he
eventually did broke them in the process of applying. He then stopped
answering my e-mails so I gave up. Maybe things have changed now...
