well as a general rule i put a note in my announce email's about
major changes to the packages so people who are on announce will find
out if there is anything the need to do to make those new packages
work, if thats not enough we might need to hack the package index to
include those messages, i assume it would be possible to stick a
message at the top of the pui buffer ? we could then add functionality
to alow me to include a message about drastic changes to the packages
i WILL need some help doing this if thats what we want to do
