Hello Michael,
will this update of EFS include/exceed the EFS patches to make it work
on Windows NT?
Here's what I've been using with some success.
Although the setting of efs-tmp-name-template is tricky. I have set
it to "/tmp/efs" via Custom and still get an error when I first list a
directory via EFS.
(2) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(3) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(4) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(5) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(6) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(7) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(8) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
(9) (error/warning) Error in process filter: (ftp-error FTP Error: list data file
\tmp\efsaDAT3Z not readable)
I have to set its value to the above again, then EFS works. I don't
understand this. It has to do with EFS using the path normaliation
functions to handle EFS paths. This breaks on NT where the native
path seperator "\\" is different from FTP's "/" path-seperator.
I long for EFS in XEmacs on Windows NT!
Best regards,
Adrian
