Although the setting of efs-tmp-name-template is tricky. I have set it to "/tmp/efs" via Custom and still get an error when I first list a directory via EFS. I don't understand this. It has to do with EFS using the path normaliation functions to handle EFS paths. This breaks on NT where the native path seperator "\\" is different from FTP's "/" path-seperator. I long for EFS in XEmacs on Windows NT!
