[Bug: 21.4.21] dired complains about an unrelated directory

I don't know if this is related, but I sometimes get random XEmacs hangs
trying to visit a particular file or directory.
I think this also happens with TRAMP if the ssh process is dead.
If I need to collect more information, please let me know what to
gather.
You should do dired-report-bug which will format a report for the
Dired maintainer Mike Sperber (cc'd) (who also hangs out here but
sometimes responds more quickly on that channel).
