Please note that for most packages, all the coding work is in creating a few admin files (the Makefile and package-info.in), and is basically done once and never again. So Torsten might very well appreciate if you contribute the XEmacs-compatible Makefile, and after that all he needs to do is an extra CVS check-in (to our repository) with every change. Or he can even use our repository.
