I suggest that you provide a patch, eg. changeset, with ChangeLog and
all to possibly get some more attention. If you can, use patcher to

This has two positive effects as I see it:
1. The patch stands out as just a little more serious (not that I
find that your current mail should not be taken seriously. (Huh
double negations, read with care.))
2. Is easy to apply locally for testing and possibly commit and push
by someone with rights to do that. (With the support of the
current build slaves it should be quite OK to commit and push just
using inspection of this type of patch IMHO since there will be
feedback.)
