Whee. In principle, it ought to be possible, but there are some
gotchas with the right ssh port: some ssh ports on Windows will not
allocate a pty even though you tell them to.
Adrian, could you have a look at the Tramp mailing list archive at
www.mail-archive.com (or
www.mailarchive.com -- I always forget)?
You'll find the list under two names, one is
tramp-devel(a)lists.sourceforge.net, and the older one is
emacs-rcp(a)ls6.cs.uni-dortmund.de. The info you're looking for is
probably in the older one. Please keep me posted about any results
