After a couple of Vladimir> executions, it stops shrinking. That's an artefact of XEmacs's geometry model which approximates frame size based on the font size of the default font. There's probably yet another place where the recomputation isn't happening as soon as it should. I'll keep it around on my bug list. (I personally think the whole model should be put against the wall, but that's for another day.)
