Problem using Xemacs on Fedora Core 3...

Hello: I have installed Xemacs 21.4.16 and 21.5.18 in my PC running Fedora Core 3, and in both cases I get the same situation. When I execute the "xemacs" command in the command line, I get that Xemacs starts in text mode instead of graphical mode (just as if I had executed it using the "-nw" command line flag). When I try to execute it by clicking on the icon, it simple does not start. I have also tried to install the old version 21.4.5, which is installed and running fine in my old RedHat 7.2 computer, but in that case what I get is the compilation process aborted. Can you please help me in this problem? Thanks in advance and best regards.
