I recommend CVS, though.
I recommend the tarballs. We still need people to install XEmacs
using the tarballs and report problems. There are recurring
problems with inappropriate files being included in the tarballs,
bad file permissions, missing files and so on. The tarballs are
how we package the product for the user and therefore they must
to be tested.
