No these are all prebuild Debian packages. From your reply I
conclude
that I should submit a Debian bug report?
Yes. Debian needs to know about this; there's nothing we can do about
breakage in their packages that doesn't exist in our versions.
Debian has this stubborn policy of trying to force XEmacs to be plug-
compatible with GNU Emacs. From Mats Lidell's comment, I suspect that
it is the underlying issue here.
