Also, Ben did a huge amount of work on the menus and other user customization features which hasn't been backported. They're somewhat controversial (in the usual way for UI changes), but you may find them a big improvement. If you're supporting other 21.4 users, and there are institutional constraints against using 21.5 or something like that, what do you need to upgrade?
