Be aware that many Japanese elisp programmers use a lot of coding
practices that are deprecated for XEmacs, especially now that we have
the package system.
Steve will of course let you know all about it when you submit a
packagized version, but it would be nice to clean it up first :-)
This often involves some sort of conditioning on (featurep 'xemacs) or
the like, unfortunately.

Yes, enough for this purpose. Style issues apart, there's lots of
good code bitrotting in this country because Japanese don't document
well in other languages, and other folks don't read Japanese. I'd be
happy to follow up on anything that looks interesting for those who
don't read Japanese. (Write me out-of-band, of course.)
Look at the list of tutorials in ./etc/; that should give you a good
idea of what languages somebody on this list has been able to handle
in recent memory ;-)
