Are you saying that this fixes the display issue too?
Yes. X11 display is fine either way, only text console display was offset.
Do you have a fix for this such that XEmacs builds correctly when
configure is run with no flags? (TTY support via termcap and terminfo
is supposed to be autodetected!)
Since the pkgsrc GNU Emacs needed TERMINFO #defined, too, my guess is that
configure "knows" NetBSD has termcap, and does not bother to check.
