To tie this into another thread ongoing - my contributions to XEmacs have
consisted almost entirely of little 3-4 line patches as I come across stuff
that doesn't seem right. ;) (And there's a bunch of other open-source
projects I do similarly - so this isn't entirely XEmacs-specific). I work
for a state university, and basically anything I do can be assumed to be
copyright my employer as a "work for hire" - and I don't think I've
*ever*
bothered with copyright assignments.
Does anybody besides rms really care about these little patches?
