It would be nice if Custom could be taught to do this, maybe. (I
haven't thought that through, though, it might be a horrible idea. ;-)
I don't see what Custom has to do with this. The real problem is the
incomplete integration of faces and widgets, regardless of how you
actually specify the face properties.
