The Python folks just switched from SF to Roundup after a long gestation
period a few days ago. If you're interested in the (still fresh) experience
from that group, I suggest you send a message to
tracker-discuss(a)python.org.
There are actually two trackers, one for Python proper and a "meta" tracker
for the changes the Python people made to Roundup. I believe the meta
tracker uses Roundup out-of-the-box. There was quite a bit of customization
to Roundup to provide the extra features desired. Everything is available
from Subversion. If it was okay with the people involved I don't see any
reason why you couldn't create a branch to add XEmacs-specific
customizations (most likely skin/theme stuff).
I had a peripheral hand in things, writing some plugin code for SpamBayes to
handle anti-spam duties.
Thanks skip, that should be useful if we select roundup.
