to derby, and it runs fine there. Two years passed, and derby was
used as a development server, and who know what kind of libraries were
installed there. However, the gcc/libc are the same.
So, this could be a problem with this particular installation We may
forget it all if you wish; however I could try more tests/patches if
you want to make sure.
