Could it be added > to the collection of packages distributed with XEmacs? And 3.9.5 will not use generic.el any more (it's just as easy to use define-derived-mode). Both 3.9.3 and 3.9.4 were supposed to work on XEmacs out of the box and in both cases, I messed up like a beginner. I have to fix it real soon.
