This is great. (Somewhat belatedly - sorry ...) I'm a little uncomfortable with SSL sitting so deep and pervasively inside the lstream code, but I'd also have been surprised if it had been possible to do it more modularly. The code is readable, so I'm not worried. What's the plan with this - GNU-compatible gnutls.el eventually?
