So it is unlikely we would change build system then due to the loss of
support for all the different platforms?
Is there a link/web page/something that discusses xemacs and xft? I
tried building --with-xft=emacs, and it seems to mostly work. But it
spews out lots of messages about fonts to the terminal, and the font
that it selected isn't the one I normally use (courier).
But it does look really nice, and doesn't seem to have slowed anything down.
