Thanks for the bug report. I hope it puts some focus on this issue. (I
think it has been discussed but I fail to find the thread now.)
The problem has been seen in the package smoketest for some time.

Which gives me the opportunity to say that the package smoketest now
builds for 21.4, 21.5 (latest released) and 21.5 (bleeding edge)[1]
