Personally, I have the CVS archive checked out, and the packages
installed. When I'm hacking a package file, I do it on the /installed
version/, and reload it (or simply the modified function) to check the result.
Once I'm satisfied, I copy the file back to my cvs checked out version, rerun
`make binkit STAGING=[site,mule or xemacs package dir]' to see if the
compilation and reinstallation process goes well, check the work with a
vanilla xemacs, and if it's ok, then I run a `cvs ci'.
