On the subject of psgml-dtds, the XEmacs FAQ has had this for a long time:
psgml-dtds
A collection of DTDs for psgml. Note that this package is deprecated and
will be removed in the future, most likely Q2/2003. Instead of using this,
you should install needed DTDs yourself.
It's almost 5 years after Q2/2003 now, maybe it's time to just remove the
package?
They're not really doing any harm, nobody reads the FAQ. I suggest
that we remove them from the sumo. Then they're a back up for people
like the OP.
