But not all programs do. I live in shell mode. I open xterms and
use them in the normal course of work but anytime I want to use a
program that does NOT have editing (like isql for Sybase/sqlplus
for Oracle) I find it much easier to use shell mode.
Isn't this situation what an inferior SQL mode is supposed to deal
with? Don't we have an inferior SQL mode?
