That's a bug in what? How is XEmacs supposed to know the extent is
supposed to be undone? That depends on the mode and the purpose of
the extent. undo does not affect things like mode and so on; it is
not XEmacs's job to undo that.
Granted, XEmacs has known problems with the syntax code, heavily
affecting font-locking, which presumably is similar to this. If you
can show a likelihood there's a bug in XEmacs such that mmm-mode is
trying to get rid of the extent and fails to, that's another matter.
