But there remains more weirdness. (Your patches are in, I checked
explicitly, and I've got version 21.2.32 from CVS.)
(0) Build --with-xim=xlib and --with-xfs.
(1) Start XEmacs: LANG=BadLocale src/xemacs -vanilla
Dunno if either of the configure options is necessary, or the bad
locale. Does serve to generate an appropriate warning to put in the
*Warnings* buffer, though.
(2) Select *Warnings* from Buffer Menu.
See tabs for *Warnings* and *Warnings-Show* (isn't that a bit
excessive? why do we need both?)
(3) Click on tab for *Warnings-Show*.
See single tab for *Scratch*. Huh?
Click on tab and get no response. Bang hard on tab and still no
response. Oops.
Installation:
uname -a: Linux tleepslib 2.2.10 #2 Thu Jun 24 19:22:23 JST 1999 i686 unknown
./configure '--with-mule' '--with-widgets=athena'
'--with-athena=xaw3d' '--with-xim=xlib' '--with-xfs'
