Re: libXau.a or libXau.so: Survey.
Will folks with other than Debian GNU/Linux please have a look and
see if there's a static .a or shared .so of libXau on you machines?
The question is, do all Xlibs install that as a static lib only, or
is it sometimes a shlib?
I only have archive (static) libraries under HP-UX (and old X11R5
libraries, at that).
