i am migrating my current system to gentoo linux soon
i have a gentoo box here i can play with and it uses gcc3.2 and glibc 2.2.5
so i will do a build on that box and send you a build-report
the gentoo boys and girls have a cool idea with the XEmacs emerge they
install xemacs-base and efs along with XEmacs and mule-base if doing a
mule build. this is pretty smart :)
and they keep pretty much up to date with the gamma releases
