to equation?
For me:
M-x define-global-abbrev eqaution RET equation RET
M-x abbrev-mode RET
eqaution -> equation
Eqaution -> Equation
EQAUTION -> EQUATION
In this case, abbrevs are trying hard to do The Right Thing, which
appears to be what you want.
Try the following just define
Eqaution -> Equation
Then for me on xemacs-21.1.14 also
eqaution -> Equation which is wrong
