I looked at the code in question briefly; as far as I can tell the
error at l. 125 is incorrect, as the identifier resolves to the XPoint
xic_spot member of a struct x_frame.
Hm... Please look in config.h and see if HAVE_XIM is defined. Maybe
it's configure breakage.
I can't speak for Richard, but my build problem was fixed by this
