SL Baur <steve(a)xemacs.org> writes in xemacs-beta(a)xemacs.org:
This was broken in the last round of patches I integrated.
Oops, not quite. I ran configure with X11 not in my $PATH and xmkmf
failed to get run and my X11 libraries are poison unless NARROWPROTO
and X_LOCALE get defined.
Um, why shouldn't configure scream bloody murder if it is configuring
for X11, and fails to find xmkmf? It's certainly preferable to
indefinite churning and spitting out an unusable binary.
Speaking of updates, 21.2-beta4-pre2 and 21.0 "Pyrenean-pre7" have
been committed to CVS. There will be a formal 21.2 beta later today,
or Friday with 21.0 "Pyrenean" following either Friday or Saturday.
