I don't think it doubles in size. clisp is very small. And it's
quite fast, although not as fast as CMUCL. Please read Bruno
Haibles's points on technical merits of clisp.
BTW has anyone discussed FSFmacs compatibility.
FSFmacs compatibility will be maintained in the same sense as XEmacs
compatibility. I am not interested in compatibility with the new,
Guile-ized FSFmacs.
