Building packages with 21.5

Hi! Does anybody else see the following error? I'm trying to build the packages using the latest beta. This fails (and has so for some time) with the following error in auctex/tex-jp.el (long output attached): xemacs exiting. Scan error: Unbalanced parentheses, 10337, 29788make[2]: *** [auto-autoloads.el] This is on 'Linux mm0112 3.0.0-12-generic #20-Ubuntu SMP' Maybe, it's something weird in my Local.rules file or my xemacs configuration?
