setq-default problem?
I don't know if this is a problem with cc-mode or in general, but I keep
having a problem where I (setq-default c-basic-offset 4) and it doesn't hold
for new buffers, or even if I switch to another buffer and back.
This is with the NT version of XEmacs (installed using the installer
990105.exe).
