No problem when I compile without gtk.
I think I mentioned this to Bill a while ago in a previous version of
xemacs -- I can past eonly if I first clcik on the Copy button, otherwise
nothing goes into the pastboard (or whatever gnome calls it).
I didn't think it was supposed to persist once you deselected the text?
The code in select-gtk.c looks like it is doing the right thing, and
select-gtk.c is doing the exact same thing as select-x.c (just calling
own-selection, etc)
