OK, this time I tried it.
It works out of the box under (emacs-version)
"XEmacs 21.5 (beta2) \"artichoke\" [Lucid] (i586-pc-win32) of Tue Jul
31 2001 on D5DC120J"
and looks quite nice to me.
Even mouse-track-insert works from *Ibuffer* to, e.g. *scratch*.
However, text properties are copied over to the *scratch* buffer.
Text appears colored in the *scratch* buffer as well.
This should not happen, I think.
What do others think about this improved *Buffer List*?
It definitely needs some testing and the old *Buffer List* can't just
be taken out before any compatibility issues are addressed.
Some people will undoubtedly ask for the old behavior.
