Re: segmentation while updating packages

Well, there were some complains about XEmacs crashing while updating packages under cygwin. I suffered from the same problems (under gentoo). I have my xemacs-packages on a FAT32-partition - I think this is the common factor here. At least that's the only one I can think of (apart from being 21.5-b8). I haven't tried moving my packages, though. Anyways I've found that my locale was set to "POSIX". After changing it to "C" it all works. Can someone verify that?
