Unfortunately, the only way out is via our http proxy. We also have
another proxy that allows ftp and telnet. Would there be any way to
use this?
Having been in the same situation as you are at my previous job, I can
safely say that there is no way to get cvs through an http, telnet, or
ftp proxy.
Of course, if you had login access to something that was on the other
side of the firewall, you could telnet to it and set up an ssh tunnel
to get anything.
But then again, if you had that, you probably wouldn't be having this
problem right not.
