This bug report will be sent to the XEmacs Development Team,
not to your local site managers!!
Please write in English, because the XEmacs maintainers do not have
translators to read other languages for them.
In XEmacs 21.2 (beta19) "Shinjuku" [Lucid] (i586-pc-linux) of Thu Oct 7 1999
on morrigan
configured using `configure '--cflags=-fno-strict-aliasing -O -g' --libs=-ldl
--with-modules --debug=no --error-checking=none'
Please describe exactly what actions triggered the bug
and the precise symptoms of the bug:
As in my previous bug report, I compiled with '-fno-strict-aliasing' to
determine if this was the cause of the problems with the gcc 2.95.2(pre)
compiler from debian unstable.
The problem occurred again, in a different location. I had been testing
with picons disabled in gnus as it seemed to be related to garbage
collection of images. There had been no images displayed or used to this
point, I believe.
